I spent 30 years in the health insurance industry where I recruited and contracted health care providers and facilities to serve as "in network" providers for managed care plans.  In this role I mastered the operations involved with the business from government compliance, benefit design, marketing, enrollment, financial reporting, case management and health plan quality. I took an extra interest in how provider networks should serve health insurance members. ​

I am also a licensed agent with 15 years experience of enrolling Medicare recipients into Stand Alone Drug Plans, Supplemental Plans (aka Medigap Plans) and Medicare Advantage Plans. Ten years ago I began volunteering as a Medicare Educator throughout the State of Maine and also teach a live online class for the Osher Institute at the University of Southern Maine. 

 

 I have a passion for helping people understand the Medicare program so they can use it to their best advantage.
